Massachusetts: Betty Hubbard names Sarah Good, whom Ann Putnam identified as afflicting her the day before, as one of her tormentors as well.

New Mexico: Governor Vargas sets off from Socorro between 8:00 and 9:00 am with his Apache guide and soldiers. They get as far as the Hueco Mountains by sunset, when Vargas and a few mounted soldiers advance further to see if there are any Apaches in the area. They don’t see any and make camp. In the evening the civilians and Indian allies arrive at the camp.
