June 13 (June 3, o.s.)

Massachusetts: The Court of Oyer and Terminer continues its first session for the second day.  The grand jury hears more testimony against the accused witches, particularly John Willard and Rebecca Nurse, and it issues indictments against both for tormenting the afflicted girls of Salem Village.  The court then adjourns without issuing any more indictments or conducting any more trials.
